The way you log into RP Data has changed. Old format logins have been phased out. If you have not yet created a personalised login, then we strongly recommend you create one the next time you log into RP Data.

Why must we change? I prefer logging in with q12345.
A RP Data personalised login allows you to:
- Personalise your reports. This will become very important in the coming months when we release RP Professional, RP Data's new Property System.
- Take your personalised login with you if you change positions. That's one less password to remember.
- No more kick offs or lost work.
- Save time and maintain security of your account. No more changing the passwords when people move on.
- Access the new RP Professional system once it launches in early 2010.
I have claimed my name but have forgotten what name I used.

What happens if I move offices?
The personalised logins have been designed so you can take your username and password with you no matter where you work. When you move offices, if your new employer has RP Data then they can add your personalised login to their account.
I don't want ex employees taking data with them. Can you stop this?
If you disconnect a personalised login user from your account (for example if an employee no longer works for you) then only the username and password follows that user. The data the user had access to does not follow them. Data belongs to the Principal who is paying for the subscription.
It won't let me create the personalised login that I want to use.
